EDD’S Wine
In the sunny Algarve, where viticulture is a rare art, EDD’s Wine has found its soul. Our family vineyard, cultivated with dedication by Edwin Opstelten, a renowned architect who has called the region home for over 20 years, began as a passionate hobby.
With commitment and love, we expanded from 7 to 14 hectares, cultivating a variety of grapes, including recently sparkling wine.
Each bottle, hand-picked by family and friends and individually numbered, tells our story.
The youngest member of the family, Mike, born almost two years ago, represents the future of our legacy. In partnership with a Dutch entrepreneur, we have launched a new website for consumers, sharing our award-winning wines, served in prestigious restaurants such as the Michelin-starred Rijks in Amsterdam.
